Right now i am sitting in the librabry of Jasper where I finally find a better internet place, last time I tried I got so angry with the horrible computer that I said I might just forget about trying to write a story here...I am doing great, the weather has been amzingly warm for the last week, only a bit of rain in Banff on the first night of camping but that was actually nice after the long hot days in the Okanoga Valley. The houseboating at Sicamous, a great Canadian way of camping on the water, where you motor round very nice lakes and beach at night, is good for me and my group, a way to chill a bit. We made barbeque dinner with fresh salmon and corn on the cob, all so tasty with the smell of nature. For desert we had smores, little cookes melted with chocalade on the side of the bbq...and when they are ready you put a melted marshmellow in between...mmm!
Now the time is running out to write more detailed information but for the last three days we have been camping in the Rocky Mountains, where we had the best adventure yesterday, walking on the glaciers! It is so beautiful there and so amazing to know that you walk on ice that has been there for ages....Sadly th eglaciers are loosing a lot of their size each year, its been melting rapidly, due to the warm summers and winters, next to that the polution seems to be a part of the problem.
We are surrounded by nature here and have seen so many animals but sofar no bears (well you see the Elk here)...the group of people and kids, 21 in total is wonderfull and we are having only minor problems sofar but the atmosphere is perfect. My two compaigs, are very nice to work with, we cook good and healthy meals.
Tomorrow we go to Wellsgray park for serious hiking. only one more week to go! :-(
I have a small chance to be leading a new group so I am thinking in what to do after. maybe some vacation here and then go back to see my darling la Reina. I hope you all keep writing me and I wish I hadmore time to answer all the mails, edith look for the aquarium of vancouver and then u see the belugas.... miss kramer group I miss you tooooo! hope you are ok all!
